FieroGloW and the Plasma Peace Project (PPP) are sponsoring an independent engineering team led by Rayce Rinaldi. Over the next two years, Rayce and his team are building a working, small-scale nuclear fusion reactor known as a Farnsworth fusor.
Building one of these machines is an incredible engineering challenge. One of the biggest hurdles is figuring out how to deliver the massive, highly stable electrical power required to make the reactor work. Instead of leaving the team to build a complex power supply from scratch—a frustrating process that often results in burned-out electronics and wasted months—FieroGloW is directly donating one of our advanced, proprietary power circuits.
By giving the team a bulletproof, highly adjustable power foundation, we are helping them bypass the electrical headaches so they can focus entirely on the physics of achieving fusion.

Building one of these machines is an incredible engineering challenge. One of the biggest hurdles is figuring out how to deliver the massive, highly stable electrical power required to make the reactor work. Instead of leaving the team to build a complex power supply from scratch—a frustrating process that often results in burned-out electronics and wasted months—FieroGloW is directly donating one of our advanced, proprietary power circuits.

Understanding the Farnsworth Fusor Originally conceived by Philo Farnsworth (one of the inventors of television), a Farnsworth-Hirsch fusor achieves nuclear fusion using a process called inertial electrostatic confinement (IEC).
Instead of using massive, complex magnetic fields to crush plasma together (like the giant reactors you see in the news), a fusor uses raw high voltage. The setup consists of a stainless steel vacuum chamber injected with a tiny amount of fusion fuel, typically Deuterium gas. Suspended in the absolute center of this chamber is a geometrically woven wire cage known as the inner grid (the cathode).
When an extreme negative high voltage—typically between 10,000 and 40,000 volts—is applied to this inner grid, it ionizes the Deuterium gas. The positively charged ions are violently accelerated by the electric field toward the dead center of the cage. They travel so fast that when they crash into each other in the middle, their nuclei fuse together, releasing energy and a measurable stream of neutrons.
The Hardware Contribution: The OMB ZVS Architecture Generating and surviving that 40,000-volt demand is where most independent fusor projects stall. The plasma inside the chamber creates wild, chaotic electrical resistance, which easily destroys the sensitive driver circuits attempting to push power into the high-voltage transformer.
To bridge this gap, FieroGloW and the PPP are equipping Rayce's team with our advanced OMB Zero Voltage Switching (ZVS) tunable circuit.
The crown jewel of this board is FieroGloW’s proprietary switchboard capacitor architecture. Instead of endlessly soldering and desoldering components to find the right electrical balance, Rayce’s team can physically toggle switches to tune the resonant capacitance of their tank circuit on the fly. This allows them to perfectly match the resonant frequency of whatever high-voltage transformer they end up sourcing, resulting in massive, stable power delivery without destroying expensive MOSFET transistors.
By supplying this foundational architecture, FieroGloW and the PPP are actively supporting bleeding-edge, open-source science and accelerating the team's path toward stable plasma containment.
