These devices are NOT universal drivers. unlike professional laboratory equipment, Nikola Toy drivers are engineered with very specific, narrow tolerances. They are "hard-tuned" to the exact impedance of the flasks and gases they ship with.

• DO NOT attempt to use these bases to drive third-party custom flasks.

• DO NOT swap gases or tubes that were not explicitly assigned to the specific driver unit.

• DO NOT run them for extended duty cycles beyond their rating.

The Risk: The driver circuits lack the robust protection features found in higher-end gear. Mismatched loads (like putting a high-resistance gas on a low-power base) can cause immediate oscillation failure, overheating, or coil burnout.

The Bottom Line: If you stick to the "assigned" pairings, they are a fun, affordable toy. If you try to mod them, they will likely fail.
